On September 3rd there was a 6.0 magnitude quake near Bella Bella, Canada. This is worrisome because this is the region for a potentially colossal quake on the west coast. This region has not had a significant event for several hundred years and is ripe for an epic earthquake that wipes out the west coast of Canada and the United States.
So far today (September 4th) have had three large earthquakes. At 12:18AM a 6.5 magnitude quake struck the Izu Islands region of Japan (see map). Two hours and fifteen minutes later, a 6.5 magnitude…

God shares His Glory with no one
Perhaps Mr. McCain needs a history lesson refresher course, let’s start with this:
The religion of Islam has as its focus of worship a deity by the name of ”Allah.” The Muslims claim that Allah in pre-Islamic times was the biblical God of the Patriarchs, prophets, and apostles. The issue is thus one of continuity. Was ”Allah” the biblical God or a pagan god in Arabia during pre-Islamic times? The Muslim’s claim of continuity is essential to their attempt to convert Jews and Christians for if ”Allah” is part of the flow of divine revelation in Scripture, then it is the next step in biblical religion.
The pagan moon god Allah and the God of the bible have nothing in common…

Al Jazeera’s blog posted a story Monday featuring tweets from the Director of Research at the Brookings Center in Doha, Qatar, who reported that an Egyptian newspaper’s front page story claimed President Barack Obama is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
“Newspaper also claims that son of MB leader threatened Obama with release of ‘papers’ revealing his MB membership,” writes Shadi Hamid of Brookings.
One could hardly come up with a more explosive allegation about a U.S. president than secret membership in an Islamist group. And if that weren’t enough, the newspaper also claims that President Obama’s half-brother Malik is allegedly an Al Qaeda activist.
Jonathan Spyer, senior research fellow at the Global Research in International Affairs Center and an Arabic speaker, said that the newspaper — Al-Wafd — specifically accuses Obama of being a member of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Where is the outrage from the Liberals?
Democratic Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton said today that at the current time, the only reason she would vote in favor of an attack on Syria was out of loyalty to Barack Obama.
Remember when Liberals were against war and had all those protests? Seems like all that stopped the day Obama took over.
Appearing on radio’s Bill Press Show, the non-voting delegate from the District of Columbia also said if the President actually gets the votes he needs, “it’ll be because of loyalty of Democrats. They just don’t want to see him shamed and humiliated on the national stage” source
With the exception of the Drudge Report, the main stream media is virtually silent on the subject except to offer support and encouragement for Obama’s plan to bomb

Leaders of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee said Tuesday they reached an agreement on a draft resolution to use military force in Syria, setting a 60-day deadline, with one 30-day extension possible for the intervention — while also barring the involvement of ground forces in the conflict.
“Together we have pursued a course of action that gives the President the authority he needs to deploy force in response to the Assad regime’s criminal use of chemical weapons against the Syrian people, while assuring that the authorization is narrow and focused, limited in time, and assures that the Armed Forces of the United States will not be deployed for combat operations in Syria,” Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said in a statement.

Smooth McGroove has carved out a very specific niche for himself on YouTube by performing a cappella covers of classic video game theme songs. His latest installment — an expressive version of the Tetris theme — just might be his best yet. McGroove — whose real name is Max Gleason — recorded all the parts himself and stitched them together for a result that will make you want to bust out your old Game Boy and lose yourself in the hypnotic world of Tetris.
Bonus fun fact: the Tetris theme song is a version of the 19th century Russian folk tune Korobeiniki. Listen about 20 seconds in and prepare to be amazed:

Obama Vetoed Israeli Strike On Iran’s Nukes Last Year But He Pushes Syria Strike With Same Argument He Ignores On Iran
More revelations of Obama’s mindless meandering and lethal irrationality. The fact is Iran is the real problem. Syria is a sideshow. And yet:
“President Obama stopped Israel from launching an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities a year ago, according to the then head of Israel’s National Security Council, Gen. Giora Eiland. Gen. Eiland spoke with Israeli journalist Rotem Sella, a former senior writer for the daily Ma’ariv, at the Daily Capitalist (Hebrew) blog on the “Mida” online news site. Some quickly-translated extracts from Sella’s report are here.”
Exclusive: Prime – Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was about to order an attack on Iran in September 2012, but canceled the operation in response to U.S. pressure, the former head of Israel’s National Security Council said last month. Gen. Giora Eiland (retired) added that Israel “has a real ability to destroy Iran’s nuclear program,” and that it…

Six British Army soldiers have been charged over a fight with an off-duty police officer in New York City.
The soldiers, visiting the US as tourists, allegedly got involved in an argument in the early hours of Friday morning outside a Manhattan bar.
The men – Ratu-losefo Yavala, Mosese Kurulala, Joeli Raduva, Filipe Vunisarati, Iliakini Raderua and Thomas Shute – are said to have punched the officer until he fell to the ground.
When the officer tried to call emergency services, one of the men punched him again and took his mobile phone, according to a criminal complaint.
The unidentified New York Police Department officer, who did not have a gun, cut one of the soldiers on the arm while trying to defend himself with a small pocket knife, police said.
He suffered a broken nose and a swollen jaw.
The Ministry of Defence identified the six men as members…

Arsenal transfer deadline day report card: Short-term half-failure – but Mesut Ozil may be biggest leap in club history
Mesut Ozil was an explosion of a transfer. He was shock and awe. He was designed to blow the tiny minds of everyone in the world of football. We just signed the best number 10 on the planet. Ruud Gullit called him technically perfect, Jose Mourinho called him the best number 10 in the world and I said ‘aksjndgvkladn npina oinasfgok‘… as did most Arsenal fans.
… but as the dust of excitement settles down around the Emirates, are we left to look back on a summer that, in the main, largely disappointed?
Firstly, creativity was a problem in spurts last year. Was that because we didn’t have creative players, or was that down to not having a particularly clinical side? I’m not sure you can ever say an Arsenal side that boasts Thomas Rosicky, Santi Cazorla, 14-assist Lukas Podolslki and ten-assist Theo Walcott lacks creativity. Most teams only…

Tottenham fans have set up an online petition demanding an end to the club’s ‘strategic partnership’ with Real Madrid.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy presided over the world-record sale of Gareth Bale to Madrid this summer and last year sanctioned Luka Modric’s £33m Bernabeu switch.
Despite the clubs’ supposed special relationship, however, an alleged plea from Levy to Real president Florentino Perez to call off Mesut Ozil’s transfer to Spurs’ local rivals Arsenal fell on deaf ears.
And now a group of disgruntled supporters have concluded that the partnership only benefits the Spanish giants.
A statement on the petition page reads: ‘Real Madrid CF have taken advantage of our club through the “strategic partnership” that we agreed to.
‘They have taken our 2 top players for the past 2 years, sold a top player to our biggest rival and the partnership has been one sided.
‘They have been duplicit in their…
